Naihilamos ko na lang ang mga kamay ko nang tuluyang makaalis ang sinakyang taxi ni Penelope. Napaupo na lang ako sa gilid habang tinitimbang ang sitwasyon. Hindi ko mapigilang madismaya sa sarili ko. I couldn’t do anything to stop her and explain everything to her. All I ever did was watch her walk away with pain and dismay. But if I happen to stop her, she would have probably made a scene that would just make things more complicated, and would surely take affect her a lot. And I don’t want that. As much as possible, I want to keep her from any pain; from the consequences of my actions. That’s why I really need to talk to her and explain my side.
