Caden's Point of View
I couldn't stop but look at Lalaine's mother. She's so thin and weak. She's almost skin and bones yet I can still see life and hope in her eyes. I can tell that she still has the will to live. The fire in her eyes is evident. And despite her condition, she still managed to smile. And I commend her for that. She's such a brave soul. No wonder why her daughter loves her so much that she was willing to risk it all just to come and see her mother as soon as she heard she got hospitalized. Now I finally understand where Lalaine is coming from; why she chose to work at such a young age instead of going to school and chasing her dreams.
