Pansamantala kaming nakakulong habang hinihintay ko ang abogado ko na maayos ang mga kailangan para makalabas kami ni Beatrix.
“Alejandro!” wika ni Mommy.
“Mom, Dad!” sabi ko.
Masaya ako dahil binisita nila ako dito sa presinto.
“Alejandro, what happened to you?”
“Mom, I didn't kill Nikka.”
“Why don't you tell the police the truth so we can end this mess?” Daddy said angrily.
I frowned. “Did you come here for me to admit to a crime I didn't do?”
“They saw on video what you did to Nikka before she disappeared. Do you think you won't be accused?”
“I only hurt her because she cheated on me?”
“Dad, don't you believe me?”
