Tila naman ako natuod sa nangyari. The kiss felt strange, as if it were not supposed to happen anymore. I ignored the feeling and forced a smile.
She quickly looked away when I tried to look at her eyes. Sa halip ay kay Jordan siya bumaling.
“Hi, Tita Marga!” Jordan greeted as well.
“Hello, honey! I’m glad you joined us. Ano ang gusto mong kainin? Sabi ng daddy mo gutom ka na raw.”
“Yes po.” Sumimangot ang aking anak. At least it comforted me to see that they get along.
“How about pizza and pasta at Chucky Cheese? That way you can play at the arcade while waiting for the food, or after we eat?”
