Austin’s POV
As I walk into my closet, I find out my clothes neatly arranged. Valerie must have done that. I sigh while slipping into the trousers and the suit. Things are not going as I have expected. Valerie has started doing all those little things for me again, like cooking, arranging my clothes, but I always feel like I have somehow forced her to do all these. It has been a week since we’ve started the new phase of our relationship, but I haven’t seen that smile of her on her face. Not for once. I can see how broken she is, and these all are my fault. I am the one who pushed her to this stage. Maybe she still loves me, but that madness is gone. She doesn’t welcome me anymore with that smile. She never calls me hubby.
