The morning sun streamed through the curtains as Isabella stirred awake, a warm smile on her lips. Beside her, Dominic was still asleep, his arm draped over her waist, holding her close. She watched him for a moment, marveling at how peaceful he looked, and then gently nudged him.
“Good morning, Sleeping Beauty,” she teased, her voice soft.
Dominic groaned, blinking his eyes open. A lazy grin spread across his face as he looked at her. “Good morning, piccola. I must say, I could get used to waking up like this.”
