“You can’t mean that,” Ejder snuck out between their bond.  Morgan’s eyes trailed over her. It was blatantly her. How could they not see what they had was truly her? His mind flashed him back between the two. The way she looked up, the way she was seized… Morgan couldn’t believe the way she’d changed though. The fins by her hips doubled in size. One layered over her strong tail like a short flowing skirt, while the other sprawled out, lifeless against the grass at the lake’s bottom. The thought of her deceased flitted around in his mind. He called upon the swarming souls to find her if she was among them but none came back as such.  “You think I killed her?” Kael began, tilting his head to the side.  Morgan’s lips tightened together.
