Chapter 5

*Jasmine’s POV*

I watch Sean, and his father leave the dining hall and feel a pinch of sadness rush through me; how can I miss him so quickly? He only just left the room!.

Sean's mother gets my attention, and I look over at her. I take in her beauty and notice the branding on her arms, swirls of blue flowers cover her firearms that lead to Celtic lines up her shoulders. I smile, remembering my mother had the same branding.

“Are you ready for the tour?” she asks as the kitchen staff clears the tables.

I look around and notice my twin brother has left the room with Steph and Kade.

I look back at her and smile. “I would love to.”

We stand up and leave the dining hall to begin the tour.

We go into the library, and I am amazed at all the books on the shelves. It has been a long time since I could sit down and read. I run my finger over the backs of the books, smiling as I remember reading on a Sunday with my mother. Sean’s mother touches my arm, and I look over at her. I am taken back when she wipes a tear from under my eye. I didn't realise I was crying. She smiles at me.

“I remember reading with you as a child, Jasmine; you used to get lost in the stories your mother read you.”

I wipe the tears from my eyes and smile “it was the highlight of my week to have those moments with my mum.” I say as I continue to look around.

Sean’s mother guides me through the house and shows me different rooms, then takes me outside to meet other pack members. I notice a blond girl woman looking at me like I have something wrong with her. We walk past her and her friends when I hear, “you won't be around long b***h” I look in her direction and take in her appearance seems to match her attitude a cropped top and torn jeans and a face full of makeup. I am beginning to understand why she hates me. She wants Sean.

I smile at her “could you say that louder, dear? I didn't quite hear you?” I say while Sean's mum chuckles.

The blond bimbo steps closer to me “you heard me, omega. I will make sure you do not hear long.”

I step closer, not wanting to back down from a challenge. As a future luna, I have to take on this severe challenge. I let my wolf surface enough so she can feel my powers as I have learned to suppress my wolf’s strength around others.

I give her a sweet smile “are you challenging me for my mate?”

She begins to back away and whimper a little.

“What is your name?” I demand not caring that Sean’s mother is right there, and I am technically overstepping my boundaries.

“Mandy,” she says, trying to make herself look big.

I smirk at her “challenge accepted; we will fight in wolf form tonight in the training yards.”

Mandy pales and then looks to Luna for help.

I look over at Sean’s mother and give her a sheepish smile, and I see the pride on her face.

Then she clears her throat.

“Mandy, you heard the future Luna, my son’s true mate, accept the challenge only I want it done now, follow us to the training yard. I will get the Alpha and Sean down to witness.”

I smile, then look over at Mandy, who has gone pale, and we both follow Sean’s mother to the training yards, where I am about to prove to the other woman looking at Sean like he is there, that they can not mess with me, and earn some respect as the future luna of a new pack.

When we get to the training yards, I am shocked to see Sean and his father dressed in black waiting for us to arrive.

Mandy runs to Sean and goes to wrap her arms around him for protection, but he pushes her away and looks at her with disgust.

“You challenged my mate, Mandy; I have told you repeatedly that the only woman I would share myself with is my true mate; please get away from me.”

Mandy scrambles to her feet and then stands on the opposite side of the luna.

I walk to Sean, who pulls me close and kisses me, then rests his forehead on mine.

“Are you sure you want to fight her?” he asks me, and I chuckle.

“I'm not going to fight her, but I am going to scare her”, sean smirks

As I walk behind him and begin to remove my clothes ready to shift. When I am in wolf form, I nudge the back of Sean's legs with my head.

I walk towards Mandy, whose eyes widen, and she quickly shifts into her wolf and begins to back away. My wolf is more significant than her wolf.

I show my teeth and walk closer as Mandy’s wolf submits to my wolf and shows me her throat. I shift back into human form, and Mandy does the same

“Do not look at Sean or me ever again; I am sean’s mate ad your future luna; if I hear you speak badly of me, I will end you.”

I look around at the crowd gathered to watch “this is a warning to all of you; I will not tolerate this sort of behaviour from anyone. I will be a kind and fair luna to this pack.” Sean comes over with my clothes, and I quickly get dressed while he addresses his pack. Then he wraps his arm around me “this is not how I wanted to introduce you all to my mate, but please welcome Jasmine to the pack; as you see, she chooses our way of living with non-violence and fair treatment. Our Alpha and Luna ceremony is being held a week from today.”

Sean turns us around, and we leave the training ground and Mandy with his parents, where they will give her the appropriate punishment for her behaviour “that was Hot Jas.”

I laugh and lean into his warmth as we return to the Packhouse.

Sean leads me into an office where I see Kade and Renold standing wearing the same black clothing as Sean and his father.

I look up at Sean, who is watching me closely

“Jasmine, we will get your mother out tonight; I need you to look at the maps and show us where the dungeon is as we believe she will be hidden there.”

I look at the map and shake my head “she isn't in the dungeon; I think she would be in the cottage that was off-limits to all of the pack right here.”

I point to the location on the map and look up at Sean. “I'm coming with you to get her. I know the lands better than anyone” he goes to protest but knows I will not back down from this.

Sean frowns “if anything happens to you, Jas, I won't forgive myself,” he says as I walk over to the bar and pour myself a scotch; I raise the glass to my lips and take a drink, embracing the burn as it goes down.

“You don't have a choice; I am coming with you. I know an Alpha is stronger with his Luna by his side.”

Sean steps up to me and takes the glass from my hands, and finishes the drink, hissing from the burn of the alcohol “that is once our bond is sealed, sweetheart,” I press my breasts against his chest and look into his eyes “after the Mandy fiasco I think that is a beautiful idea I want my mark on you before we leave.”

Sean’s eyes widen, and then we hear his father clear his throat. I look in his direction as Sean wraps an arm around me, keeping me close.

“You two need to complete the bond, and Jasmine, you will not leave my side or Sean’s side tonight; you are right. We need you with us if we want to get your mother out safe and sound.”

I watch as He sits behind the desk and runs his hands through his hair “you can both leave; meet us at the forest boundaries in two hours.”

Sean and I leave the room and return to the bedroom, where I don't get a chance to think about what will happen. As soon as the door closes behind us, Sean's mouth is on mine, and he begins to rip the clothes from my body as I do the same to his.

He pushes me down onto the bed and begins to kiss down my neck to my breasts. I pull him back up, panting, not wanting the fourplay. I want him inside me now. I wrap my legs around his waist; take me. We will have time to explore each other later.” I pant

Sean looks down at me and smirks. “oh sweetheart, in the bedroom; I'm the boss, and I want to taste your sweet p***y on my lips.”

He pins my arms above my head and begins to his way down my body until he reaches my apex

“Oh God”, I pant, and I feel the vibration from Sean’s laugh run through me. He pauses and looks up at me “you taste sweet, baby.” he begins to move back up and then kisses me. He says as he begins to push further inside me. My eyes roll, and I let out a soft moan as he begins to pick up speed. I feel my c****x coming, and I muzzle my face into Sean's Neck as I bite him marking him as mine; I think fireworks explode in the back of my mind as he keeps me. At the same time, I see his wolf, and all his thoughts come crashing into me. I let out a scream as I fall over the edge of orgasmic bliss; Sean roars, then peppers my face in Kisses, and his movements and breathing become rugged. “I f*****g love you, Jasmine”, he says as he kisses me softly, not ready to pull out of me. I bury my head into his neck, still feeling the after-effects of our bond cemented.

*Sean’s POV*

Holy s**t, that was intense; never have I been with a woman who makes my wolf want to take over; I feel our mate bond growing more robust, and I think I would grow more possessive.

I kiss Jasmine and then move to her side and look at the time and sigh. I could stay with her all day, but we should get cleaned up and meet my father to begin our mission to get Jasmine’s mother home.

Jasmine curls into my side and sighs.

“Well, that escalated quickly”, she mumbles.

I wrap my arms around her and kiss the top of her head. “I'm not sorry about it, though. My wolf was losing control and not marking you. Now he is sedated knowing you are now ours.”

Jasmine moves and looks up at me, “we should meet your father and go get my mum back. The sooner we leave, the sooner I can have you again.”

I kiss her forehead and then get out of bed and find my clothes; I look at Jasmine’s clothes torn on the floor, then get her some of mine from the cupboard.

“You will have to wear mine until your new clothes arrive.”

Jasmine comes over to me and takes the clothes. “I don't plan on wearing them long.”

I watch as she gets dressed and places her hair in a messy bun, then walks to the door and looks over at me.

“See you at the gates, Babe,”

She walks out the door, leaving me alone. I smile to myself and shake my head. The Goddess has blessed me with my perfect mate. Now to get my head in the game and go and get Jasmine’s mother back.
