I knew the moment I said those words, everyone’s attention would turn on me. But I didn’t give a damn about that. I knew no one would volunteer, no one would want to deal with the burning, especially after witnessing how the process went with Cameron and Amy.
This man had no one who could be with him tonight, heck he had no one to support him since he was a teenager, so basically half of his life he spent feeling unloved, unworthy, and unwanted. I couldn’t imagine having that kind of life without a hope for getting better.
