Chapter Thirty-One. Lisa May Black.  I shake my head as I close the door behind the two officers, a small smirk on my lips, which appears against my will. I make my way back into the living room, picking up the teacups, plate of uneaten biscuits. God, I cannot even give them away, to help me with my bid to lose the beef I have put on, and glass, and pack them directly into the dishwasher. Maybe I should just throw these biscuits in the bin, but it goes against the grain to waste food like that, so instead I grab a couple, before covering the plate with tin foil, and head back to my living room, sitting down, and picking up my phone to view this supposed message I have from PC Tanner.
