Chapter Sixty-Four. Cal. Finally, the kids are asleep! Today has been a long day, not because it was stressful in any way, shape mean of form, but because I am as giddy as my kids are on Christmas Eve, because tomorrow I am having my official date with Mabel. I hope that it all goes well. Whilst I was out and about I picked up three lots of bucket and spades, three beach balls, because we know that one of them at least will either drift out to sea or burst, I also picked up five beach towels, as when I looked at the ones I had from last year, they were looking a little worse for wear.
