Chapter Seventy-Seven. Pamela and Smithy.  Pamela’s Point of View. “You did what now?” my tired voice asks, with more force than I believed possible. “It was for you own good. He was hanging around the hospital more than was appropriate!” my mother states. I have never felt so angry in my whole life. How dare she! I am not some kid that needs protecting from a boy who likes her, this is interference, and it has gone to far this time. “You can leave, you have done enough damage,” my mother spits at Smithy, and I shake my head in utter dismay. “He is not going anywhere, but you are,” I glare at my mother, who is visually taken aback from the strength of my anger. “Look at the state of you, you are as white as a sheet, he has done this,” my mother points at him.
