"Sir, we have distributed more than a hundred troupes in the direction in which she went, but we have found no results, neither have we found any traces nor scent of her even being there," they explained as they paced around the dining area.
"Who even opened the gates for her? When did she leave? Why was this not reported to me? Why am I suddenly finding out about this now?" I asked as irritation and anger flowed through my veins.
I grabbed the guard by the neck as I felt a strong urge wash through my veins. I clenched my fists at my sides. Blood lust was taking over my body. And I was already beginning to surrender to it.
I let out a deep sigh before I let go of him, and he stood by at the corner, fear evident in his eyes.
