We f****d up big time and I knew she wasn't going to speak to us until we decided to beg her. So we had to make a choice quickly.
I ran my hands through my hair. It would take a lot before she would forgive any of us, but we still had to talk to her. Beg her, and throw out the little shame we had left, because I really wanted to hug her and kiss her. Tell her how much I missed her sleeping close to me, listening to her talk about the future. I really wanted her to know I really missed her.
Astrid wasn’t going to forgive us anytime soon, hell. She wasn’t even going to look at us until we bowed at her feet. But before we could even think about begging her for forgiveness, we needed to make things right. And quickly, we had to get Sieena.
