AIDEN'S POV He did not lie at all. He was speaking the truth, but apparently, Zane was offended by it. The truth was a bitter pill to swallow indeed. No amount of water could flush it down. I grabbed the files, and I had a lot of work to do in little space. I didn't want to exceed my deadline to fit the documents. I was a few numbers away anyway. Zane usually takes a full day to do things like this. But my complexity wouldn't allow me to scroll through a paper and fast read just to sign. We all decided to remove the distractions from our view, and we focused on the work before us. We had a lot to cover up. And we still had to find a way to track Sienna. As I was losing myself in the work before me, the sound of the direct phone cut through the office. From my window I saw th
