I'm bored in this room, since the incident this morning Charles has not come here again even though it was getting late and now I'm starving. I can only squeeze the blanket when my stomach begs to be filled.
I stood up to the balcony of this room, opened the balcony door and finally I felt the cold wind that hit me. At least this wind reminds me that I'm still alive.
The light from below looks amazing, I think the room I'm in is on the third or fourth floor seen from its height through this balcony. The cold came over me and because of that I just realized that I was only wearing a thin knee-length shirt. Who changed my clothes? Could it be Charles? Because I would be very insulted if he replaced it.
I looked at the view that looks beautiful, this balcony is enough for me to see all sides from above. And at the other end I saw a flickering light, I think there was a traffic jam or something.
I went back to my room and took some books that were on the shelf near the cupboard and looking for a good read after getting them I went back to the balcony. I pulled up a chair in the corner of the balcony and sat on it. I read accompanied by the cold wind that slapped me.
I spent 15 minutes reading a quarter of this book. Even though the story in this book is interesting, for some reason, I feel bored and too quiet. Normally I would rant to David. And he teased me back with his crazy words.
I smiled, it turns out that memories will feel beautiful when I miss him. I'd rather David steal all my food and even my whole pizza than be cooped up here. It feels empty here, I'm not sure I can continue like this even though I've only been here for two days.
"Rosie!" growled someone behind me surprised me and turned my body to see the man who was now looking furiously at me.
Charles came with a tray of food, could it be for me because I'm so hungry right now. Charles put the tray of food on the table and walked over to me. He stared at my body after that I felt strange, because Charles hugged me.
"Don't you know it's 8° Celsius. And I found you in a thin shirt outside the balcony. You could be sick." What I heard that voice conveyed deep anxiety.
I let go of his arm. "I'm used to the cold so don't pretend to be worried in front of me to make me melt with you," I hiss and Charles looks at me with a shake of his head.
"How unbelievable are you, Rose?"
I was stunned, no one should call me 'Rose' except David. It was absolutely just for me and David.
"What do you mean call me Rose? Only David can call me that, so don't call me that!" I shouted.
Charles rubbed his face tired after that he held out his hand to me. "Your body is almost frozen, now come on in." He relented, maybe too tired to fight my stubborn head.
I just walked in ignoring his outstretched hand. I shamelessly took the tray of food and ate it, I didn't care what Charles thought, most importantly I wasn't hungry anymore.
Charles rubbed my head and smiled. "Why haven't you been like this since this morning," he said and I pushed his hand away which was still on my head.
I eat silently. I know that if Charles has been staring at me eating, I'm actually annoyed by his stare, rather nervous.
"Oh looks like I forgot to bring your drink," Charles muttered. Charles immediately stood up "Wait a minute, I'll get you a drink," he said and I nodded indifferently.
Charles walked out leaving the door open, unlike usual. I bribed my mouth with food, before it entered my mouth, I felt something odd. I saw the door to this room and it was open, why didn't I notice it earlier. I can run away right now.
I quickly walked slowly, afraid someone caught me running away. I walked down the stairs then back through the pillar passage and immediately hid when a guard passed by. This is quite the adrenaline rush, but all I'm afraid of right now is Charles. What if he catches me like yesterday? I walked back after looking around. The size of this mansion annoyed me because it was difficult to find the exit.
After 15 minutes, I finally found the exit but strangely why didn't Charles look for me? that I'm sure he's been back in my room a long time ago.
I came out of the mansion easily made me more scared, there was no way Charles let me go just like that seen from yesterday he told me he would make me his wife.
I ran through the mansion's garden which was so vast that I finally reached the mansion's big fence. The gate was open as if it was easy for me to get out of this place. I ran again until I arrived in a crowded place, I'm glad Charles didn't come after me or else he let me go on purpose. Now I just have to find a taxi and go back home, I can't wait to meet David.

Author POV onwards.
"I can't believe you let it go," said the man in the black hat.
Charles stared at the window with a dreamy gaze, the woman had now fled. Letting her go was one of his plans. He took the glass of wine on the table near where he was standing and drank it down.
"I'm not letting her go, I'm just giving her a little leeway. Because soon she won't feel what freedom is," Charles explained coldly as cold as his heart is now. The woman caught his attention too much, irritating him.
"You're a cunning Charl," the black hat man chuckled.
Charles turned his head to look at the man in the black hat. "Don't you dare touch him, Jackson, if I know you've touched him a little. I won't shut up even though you're my best friend," threatened Charles and the man named Jackson just smiled lopsidedly.
"See you later," Jackson said ambiguously making Charles furious but he didn't show it.
Jackson finally chose to leave, leaving Charles still thinking about his words. Before disappearing from the door, Charles was sure that his friend was smiling lopsidedly. I hope his best friend doesn't become his rival.
meanwhile Rosie is now having a hard time being in front of her house. Her heart raced, missing this house and David. Finally, with slow steps she knocked on the door of his house and saw David coming out with swollen eyes.
David who realized that in front of him was his sister, immediately hugged Rosie. He has been looking for Rosie everywhere for 2 days and he even called Rosie dozens of times but no one answered. And when he saw his sister now back with a bandage on his head made him sad, he felt incompetent as an older brother.
"Finally you're home, Rose. I was worried about you" David mumbled with them still hugging.
Rosie suddenly burst into tears and gripped David's shirt tightly. "I'm afraid Dave, that crazy man kidnapped me and locked me in his house. He even slapped me," said Rosie in a deep voice.
David who heard that was silent, who dared to kidnap and even slap his beloved sister. "Who is that man?" David asked and it was clear from the tone of his voice that he was angry.
"Charles, the guy you told me to stay away from," said Rosie.
"That bastard!" David was angry and immediately let go of his embrace with Rosie.
"I'll report it to the police. Come on in now Rose, it's not safe here," said David as he led Rosie inside.
David locked the door of his house and even the windows. He won't let anyone take his sister, no.
Rosie was still sobbing on the sofa seeing that, so David hugged her back and comforted her. D'ramio had been wrong to find trouble with him. Just watch how he will get his revenge.
