I opened my eyes which are now hard to open. My head hurts so bad, I hold my head and it feels like something is wrapped around my head. Isn't this a bandage? I tried to look around, I finally remembered what happened yesterday but why am I not in the hospital but in a strange room? "Are you awake?" I was startled to hear a man's voice and it turned out that I had not realized that he was sleeping beside me. I tried to move to the edge of the bed, giving him some distance. "Why am I here?" I asked and the man sat up from his sleeping position. It turned out to be a crazy man yesterday. "I brought you here," he said flatly. While I looked at him in disbelief, how could he say so easily. I remember if David told me to stay away from him, without being told I was already afraid to be around this man. "Thanks for taking care of me, I'll be home," I said and immediately got off the bed but the man held me back. I looked at his hand holding me then his eyes. "Shouldn't you know that I sent them after you and crashed their car into you?" he explained while looking deep into my eyes. "Also didn't I tell you yesterday that we were going to meet," he added making me shake my head in disbelief, this guy is so crazy I think. I tried to release the grip but couldn't, he was holding my hand too tightly. "What do you want!?" I shouted. The man grabbed my hand so hard that I fell onto the bed and got closer to him. He brought his face closer to mine and smiled. "You will be mine," he insisted and I did not accept, I tried to release his grip by pulling my hand. "Let me go!" I hissed and the man in front of me just stared at me nonchalantly. "Let go!" I hissed again and he smiled. "You won't let go of me Rosie, you'll be forever entangled with me. So keep that in mind." I didn't want to be with him, I immediately bit his hand and made his grip on my hand stretch, didn't wait long I immediately took the opportunity to run away. I opened the bedroom door and immediately ran down the big stairs that led down. For a moment, I was amazed by the size and majesty of this mansion. When I got to the bottom I was confused, this mansion was too big, like a castle. I tried to pass through the hallway that stood the big pillars made me gasp, this place is just like a greek castle. When I turned in the hallway, out of nowhere the man was already there with his arms crossed. His cold face and sharp gaze indicated that he was angry. I chose to run back down the hall earlier and my hand jerked back. The man quickly chased after me and now he was holding my hand or rather squeezing it tightly. I pulled my squeezed hand. This hurts, really! The man pulled me so hard that I swayed and he immediately carried me like a sack. I tried to wriggle with all my might on his shoulders even my hands were hitting and tugging at his back pants but he still wasn't affected. He took me to my room and threw me on the bed. I immediately cornered to the end of the bed and looked at him warily. The man rubbed his tired face then pointed at me. "You're not leaving this mansion," he snarled. Then a man came here, he saw me then looked at the crazy man. "What if you do with him Charles?" asked the man and I finally knew the name of the crazy man. Charles looked at the man with his cold gaze. "None of your business James," he replied. I saw James was a good person so I looked him in the eye, begging him to help me out of this madman. But what he stared at only gave me a sad look, making me despair. "Don't look at him!" I was shocked and immediately looked at Charles. Charles with big steps immediately closed the door and locked it then he headed back to me. I slid into a corner until my back hit the wall. I'm stuck now. Charles is now standing in front of me, pulling my chin to look at him and he whispers in my ear. "You're mine," he said softly and now his chin was tightly gripped. "Then don't look at any other man besides me!" his screams scared me. My body was shaking, I was afraid he would hit me. After that he looked at me with a smile that made me even more scared. "Be an obedient woman and after that we will get married," he said. I was surprised, really. I've only seen him for two days and now he says he's married? I don't want to marry a man like him, I want to marry a normal man. I really don't want to. "Don't expect me to marry you!" I hissed. Plak! He slapped me so hard, my cheeks felt warm and runny. I can't stand this, I want to go home, I want David, I don't want to be slapped again, David where are you? I am scared. My tears unknowingly escaped from my eyelids. Charles looked at me, the hand that had slapped me started to move again. I'm scared, I cover my face, I don't want to be slapped again. Stop it, I don't like it. I felt the hand that opened my hand that I used to cover my face, I opened my eyes as soon as there was no more barrier in my face. And I found Charles looking at me worriedly. His hands came close to my face making me move away from my face from him and my tears didn't stop, they just got heavier. Charles's fingers wiped my tears, his fingers were so warm. "Don't cry, I won't slap you again," he said as he pulled me into his arms. I just gave up, afraid that he would act worse than before. Charles lifted me up and I just obeyed. He carried me to the bed then he made me lie down and covered me with the blanket up to my chin. His hands were still wiping my tears that were still coming out. "I'll leave you, so you feel better," he said and left me out of the room. From outside I can hear if he locked the door of this room. I pulled the blanket up to cover my face. I don't know why this cry is getting louder, all I know now is that I miss David. I miss him, miss him so much. I wiped my tears and tried to sleep. I just hope tomorrow I wake up and this is just a dream. • • • "Hey, wake up Rosie." I covered my head with a pillow. Can't David give me a little more time to sleep? Why is it so easy to get up in the morning? "Rosie, let's have breakfast." "Soon Dave, give me ten minutes and I will make your breakfast," I said after that there was no sound again. Finally I can sleep well. I fumbled on the other side of the mattress for my bolster, but what I found was a wide, elastic checkerboard. I hit the thing and heard a groan. Finally I opened my eyes and saw someone who was now holding my hand on his stomach. Ah! Turns out what I thought was Charles' stomach. "You love touching me," he chuckles, causing me to inched away. Damn, so yesterday wasn't a dream. Charles is now shirtless, he only wears sleep pants. His body is athletic and there are lots of packs there, if you count there are six packs in his stomach. It's a really beautiful body. "Enjoying what you saw, huh?" I was embarrassed, he caught me looking at his stomach. Charles laughed. "It's okay, just see because this will eventually be yours," he teased making me blush even more. Charles took the breakfast plate on the nightstand and handed me the breakfast. I didn't really want to eat, but Charles kept pushing me. "Come on Rosie, you should have breakfast," he growled, tired of persuading me. I'm just afraid if the food has been included something that I will regret later. Charles handed me the food again and I refused. Until Charles started gripping the plate tightly. "Okay if you know what to eat." Prang! Charles slamming the plate took me by surprise. He glared at me then stood up and left me in this room alone. And don't forget, he always locks the door. Will this end?
