‘Wait a second…’ Hassan thought as he stared after the chief’s back. Then: “Sh*t!”
Now that he'd had a moment to recover from his panic, Hassan had something new to worry about.
Ren would be rescued soon, which was a good thing.
But as for Kade…
“F*ck, f*ck, f*ck!”
As fast as he could, Hassan also began to run, not to head back up the stairs but to go to the lounge where the rest of his classmates were.
“Guys!” he shouted, shocking the rest into looking at him wide-eyed. “Come with me, right now! Kade is going to get killed!”
When no one moved even though Hassan was already preparing to run back out, he didn’t think and just shouted further, “Ren is in heat! The chief is going up there to—”
At that moment, everyone heard a loud crash from upstairs. A door had just been kicked open
