VICTORIA’S POV
Something was different about Damien but I just couldn’t figure out what had triggered this change in him. I kept thinking back to the past couple of days and wondering if I had done anything to upset him but I had done nothing. He was behaving as if he was upset with me because of something I had done. I didn’t like his tone when he was speaking to me and his yelling at me had also caught me off guard.
The only significant thing that had happened these past could think of days was that we had seen the witch and she said some unsettling things about him.
However, I had purposefully chosen not to share what the witch had told me with Damien because I didn’t want him to change the way he behaved with me in order to prove Verena wrong. His behaviour lately had been proving
