Alpha Annie’s POV
“Do you think she’s okay? She’s been out of it for hours.”
“It will be the wolfsbane in her system. They must have dosed her up pretty heavy.”
“Who do you think she is?”
“I told you guys… she looks like that Alpha female… the one who came to Alpha Liam’s ceremony.”
I blink my eyes a few times as the voices that have been swirling around my head begin to get louder and louder.
“She’s waking up!”
“Quick move back, give her space.”
I open my eyes carefully as the light nips at the inside of my eyelids. After giving them a few moments to adjust, I take a deep breath and look up into the curious eyes that are watching me from above.
“Are you okay?” a young blonde girl asks me sympathetically as I pull myself up to sit on the cold stone floor.
