*Alexis POV*
I am absolutely dying to look inside but I just have to endure and have trust and belief in Christians abilities. I shift from one foot to the other apprehension boiling through me, I am trying very hard to stop the smile. I press my ear to the door and try and listen but I can hear anything. Maybe just a little peek? I hear a car coming and my heart jumps up into my throat in excitement and I quickly walk to the gate and act casually, I take a deep breath to try and calm myself. Dads car parks in the driveway and I walk in the front gate.
"Ohh dad you are home at the same time as me, what a coincidence"
He glares at me and looks me up and down. The smile on my face so unrestrained. I am trying to dial it back but I just can't.
