My jaw dropped as I stared at the smiling couple. Slowly, I got to my feet. I walked towards the couple until I was only a foot or two away.
"D-Dad...? M-M-Mom...?" I stuttered out in a whisper.
They looked at each other before grinning at me. Tears filled my eyes as I put my hand over my mouth.
Is this real?
"It's really us, honey," Mom said softly.
"Ah, screw it. I can't wait anymore," Dad said.
Then Dad pulled me into a hug. He managed to wrap his large arms around both me and Mom, squishing us together. I started to sob as I clung to my parents.
