Tala whimpered.
I tried not to let the hurt show on my face. I was prepared for something like this to happen. At least, I tried to be.
Even when Kasyn and I saw each other again though... He was right back to the Kasyn I knew before. The Kasyn that held me while I cried, and protected me at every turn.
This time is different. I knew that. I have to stay strong. All I have to do is show Kasyn that I can't be scared away. That he has to stay with me. Forever.
"She came to visit, of course." Lucifer answered me.

"Go back home. Now." Kasyn ordered me.
