Do we know where we're going? Tala asked me.
Not a clue. I replied. Just following my gut, and trying not to get caught.
Maybe we should make ourselves invisible. Tala suggested.
You're right. Let's try that. I said.
"Invisibilis," I whispered.
But... nothing happened.
What the...? Tala asked.
What the is right. I said. Guess magic doesn't work down here?
Maybe because we aren't supposed to be here. Tala replied.
Maybe. I agreed. Let's keep looking.
I crept through the twisty hallways of the cave. Most tunnels I went down were a dead-end. If they weren't dead-ends, they just circled me back to the main area. There was only one tunnel I hadn't tried yet.
I walked down what was probably my last hope. This tunnel was darker than the others. I walked for longer than I had before too
