I walked into the Witches' Den, and tossed the bag onto the counter. Gemma, Jessie, and Cora all jumped at the intrusion. I ignored their looks as I started to pull herbs out of the bag.
"Uh, what's up, Lydia?" Jessie asked awkwardly.
"Thought you weren't coming here until later?" Cora added.
I looked up at them. Jessie looks worried, like I'm going to snap any second. Cora just looks annoyed.
"Am I not allowed here?" I asked.
"That's not what we meant..." Jessie said, still sounding awkward.
"No, it is." Cora said as she crossed her arms. "We only came at this time because you said you weren't coming until later. We were trying to avoid you. So why are you here?"
