Jasper beamed at me before stepping into my room. I followed him inside, wondering if this was really okay. I shut the door, and leaned my back against it. Maybe I should call Caine and ask if Jasper is dangerous. Well, I doubt Caine would have let us go off alone if Jasper weren't trustworthy.
"What are you thinking about?"
I jumped a foot in the air at the sound of Jasper's voice. He was much closer than I thought. Well, a moment ago he was standing across my room, near my bed. Now look at him, leaning his arm on the door above my head, mere inches away from me.
Does he have to be so tall too? The guy is like over a foot taller than me. I'm not sure that I like the way he towers over me.
