It has been about 6 weeks since Phil’s passing. Kaylie has been taking it as well as she can. She is back in therapy which has been helping immensely but she still has her bad days every so often. Phil’s birthday was 2 weeks ago and that was one of her bad days. She would not get out of bed for like 3 days. Those three days she barely cried, she just laid in bed the whole time staring at the wall and refused to speak. I stayed over during that time and just laid next to her and held her. She knew I was there and would snuggle her face into my chest. Her mom explained to me that his and her birthday has always been something special for the two of them.
