Kaylie’s POV
I look over at Jake giving a confused look, “What kind of question is that? Of course not.”
The moment the car parks, I jump out of the car and walk over to my friends waiting for an explanation of what is going on. All of them in unison say, “Happy Birthday!”
I just smile still trying to figure out what is going on. Then my mom comes out of the house holding my blue duffle bag that clearly is full. I look at her and ask, “You going somewhere?”
She laughs and replies, “No, you are?”
I just look at her more confused, “What?”
Jake then wraps his arm around my shoulder “This is your surprise; we are all going to the Dells for Spring Break and your birthday.”
