Hali rings me back last night, after I assume, checking with Gage, and agreed to work from home, so she could take care of Grace for me. I was relieved as there is no one I trust more than my sister. Unfortunately, that feeling was short lived when she admitted that Wynter is now staying with her.
Despite the flare of emotion that finally knowing where she is, that sparked in me, I immediately pulled the plug on my daughter going there. I want to say it was because I didn’t trust Wynter around her, but deep down I know that’s a lie, Wynter really was great with my baby, the real reason is that I can’t bear to see her, it would hurt too much and I’m already hanging on by a thread right now.
