I step into the apartment that Hali found for me, I have no idea how she did it, my sister and Gage must have pulled every string they had to get this done, but here I am, standing in the hallway of a bright, airy, three bedroom apartment in one of the nicest parts of the area.
Gracie and I spent a few days living with my sister and her boyfriend, and now on new years eve of all days, here I am, moving into an apartment that looks to my eye, hella expensive.
I look around the space as Hali bustles past me, my daughter in her arms, Gracie gurgling happily, now at ease with her aunt it seems after spending a few days with her, in which time Hali has barely put her down.
