I don’t know how they found out about the sedative but it looks like I need to do something to get that woman out of my way!
I waited for the doctor to come out of Lord Howard's room and when I was sure that he was gone, I then secretly entered the room of the former duke.
When I entered his room, I found Lord Howard sitting in his wheelchair and looking out his window. He seemed to be deep in thought; what is this old man thinking?
"Lord Howard," I called his name, and then he turned to me as if surprised. "I'm sorry if I surprised you, I've been knocking before but you don't answer so I went in."
