Rye’s pov:
After what happened to Lord Howard, it was discovered that he had been poisoned! Fortunately, Wolverton's family doctor, Doctor De Silva, was at the mansion at that time and was immediately treated.
But because of that, Zarina and the others were called to talk about the poisoning of the former duke. They were in Lord Winston's office and they all seemed enveloped in fear and apprehension. Lord Winston's expression was indescribable; he seemed angry and worried but still tried to calm himself.
"F-Father, why are we here?" Lady Amanda stammered.
Lord Winston glared at her and sighed, "It is suspected that Lord Howard's poisoning was intentional and I want you to be aware of that! I don't know who and how he was poisoned but I am already investigating about it."
