Rue’s POV
When the strange woman first entered the room, I look at her in shock but glued to my seat.
Then I looked at Kai, he was already looking at me. I had promised him to trust him and let him do his job. And I gave him my word that I would not do anything that could contradict anything.
He gave me the go-ahead look and as if I have just been given freedom, I moved toward her taking my steps one at a time.
She looks so much like me it's crazy. But the more I moved towards her it felt like my strength was slipping away from me, it made it even harder that she was stretching her hand to me despite being weak.
