With the little strength in me and the help from my now-ever supporter, Kai. I made it into the room we both now share for our remaining days in the Lorn Awaken pack.
I tried to picture what I should do next but sensible ideas just were not coming.
“I’m okay, I’m sure I can stand by myself now” I forced a smile.
“You don’t have to show me that fake smile. I know this whole thing is bothering you and I know you are worried about your mother and I know that we are going to do something to help her” he said to me, helping me sit on the bed. I didn’t reply because I felt if I did, I might ruin the moment.
