Relief had wrapped around me when I heard Rafe's roar. I saw Rafe and Reggie busting from the bushes, but then another Lycan was with them. I figured it had to be Rafe's mother. She looked different than Rafe, she was a lighter tan color but was just as tall.
I could not place what all happened the moment I saw them. I remeber closing my eyes, but I was still able to hear the growls and the sounds of fighting.
I know I shouldn't be this scared. And I know I am half wolf, but when you have no wolf abilities, there is nothing you can do agasint a full-blown wolf, and rogues at that are scrappers, they will do anything to win or get what they want, so someone like me does not stand a chance agasint them.
