It rang in my ears over and over again . We had been on the road for about an hour now and seeing as I had the entire back seat to myself , I decided to lay flat across the seat with my knees bent . My mind was distracted by the changing of the sky from darkness to light but once the brightness filled the sky , my thoughts returned to torture me again and there seemed to be a burning hole in my chest .
Ugh , this car ride was becoming sickening. I needed a breather . " Griffin , can we stop somewhere for a little while ? I'd like to stretch my legs and maybe grab a coffee or something . " He had been quiet for the most part .
