I left Milly in her office to finish up her work. It has been about four months since she arrived at my pack, but it feels like it has been forever. She has come so far in such a short time. I smile to myself as I remember just how small and fragile she seemed in my arms those first few nights… Now I know just how dangerous she can be. I’ve trained with her enough to know that she is a fighter with a spunky attitude that will hold her own and then some in a full on fight.
I keep smiling as I make my way back to my office to place my phone call to Alpha Will. I guess I am going to have to start referring to him as Will eventually since he is Milly’s brother-in-law, but I don’t think I am there yet. It just always seems like a distant thing to have him as an ally in the near future. I s
