Brandy’s POV
I re-read the contract in front of me, the one that ties Kane and I together for a period of one year or until I conceive. I thought it best to have a time limit on our interaction, not only to give us a clear boundary on what we are agreeing too, but also it means that should it not work, we can reevaluate the situation in twelve months in case either of us has a change of heart. I’m not naïve enough to think that Kane will be fed up of the monogamous life by then, I’ll just have to hope I conceive quickly so he can go back to his puck bunnies and party life before he starts to resent me and my conditions.
I flip to the last page where Kane’s signature already sits, the enforcer having signed and returned it to me within a day along with a full medical history of his family
