"Malena, calm down. Let me explain." Gage says as I cry and hold my flat tummy.
"What happened, Gage! What happened to our baby?!" I cry.
He caresses my face. "The knife rupture the amniotic sac. Your water broke and they had to rush you into surgery. That was all last night." He says.
"And the baby?"
"She is in the NICU, they have her in an incubator." He says.
"She survived?"
He smiles. "Yes, but she is still at risk."
