“Dayton!” Cora shouts.
“Where is he? What happened?” I ask.
She is out of breath and is trying to calm herself down.
The small wolf that came with her, goes to my feet and rubs himself on my legs. I am confused as to what the wolf is doing.
Cora points at the small wolf in front of me.
“Dayton! That’s Dayton!” She says.
My face scrunches in confusion as I think about what she just said. I am taken out of my thoughts when suddenly, a large wolf lunges towards us but Gage intercepts it and starts to fight it.
I hold Cora tight to me and the small wolf huddles up to us.
