“So we don’t really have to go anywhere?” I ask Gage.
“No, we’ll do the meeting in my office from the computer. You need to rest and I don’t want to leave your side.” He says.
I smile. (He’s so sweet.)
Gage places a chair for me next to him. I sit but I make sure I am a bit further from the camera. Max, Vera, and James stand behind the monitor, listening.
I look at the monitor and when we connect, we can see all the Alphas sitting and looking in our direction. To my surprise, I see Samuel, sitting in one of the Alpha chairs.
