Americus and Cristiano arrive in New Mexico, and the first thing she does is call her parents to check on them and the kids. She talks to hr mother for a few minutes after she talked to Royal and Casian. She calls Kaleigh. Kaleigh said she and the kids are doing okay and told Americus about the letter, Dexter's health issue, and the key to a safe deposit box. She wants to open it the day after Dexter’s funeral. She can’t handle any more surprises before the funeral. Americus tells her that she’ll go with her. She’s sure Cristinao would understand if she came back a day later than planned.
