Ava’s POV
I sat there working on a case. It was going on at nine.
‘Come on, let’s go to the strip club,’ Atlas said
‘I can’t have work,’ I said
‘Boring’ Raya said
Of course Raya, the lady-in-waiting, who is getting paid to talk about her brother. She doesn’t have to work. My boss walked in.
‘Ava, get your guest under control,’, she said
I assured her we're just leaving. I can’t lose my job because of these people I call friends. I told them we’ll go to the bar later. Hit and run case, all the signs pointed to him and I think they should throw him in jail, but I have to prove him innocent.
‘Okay, drinks at a bar,’, they said
They left, my boss heard the bar and invited herself, I didn’t have the heart to say that we are going to strip club and it was ladies' night. Once my work done for the day, I went home to get ready.
‘Where are you off to tonight,’ Nora said
‘Atlas, Raya, and Jenny wanted to take me out tonight,’ I said
‘Don't do anything I would do,’ she said
‘I’ll see home at four tomorrow,’ I said
She rolled her eyes at my joke. I kissed and grabbed my mesh butterfly crop top to show off my boobs because if you have it or not, show it off. I had this black boho mesh skirt. There was a knock at my door before I went to answer it. Raya was here first. She was in a crop-top and the shortest skirt I have ever seen. We waited for the rest and then we went to the bar. This is my first time in a gay bar. I saw lap dances, swinging from the pole. I stared and then went to the bar.
'What can I get you?' The bartender said
'Whiskey neat' I said
'What the hell is Ava Kinsella' My boss said
She invited herself. She walked up to the bar and gave me a look. Has she not meet me, hi I'm Ava and I'm marrying my long-time partner Nora and I'm pan in a relationship with a woman.
'I'm pansexual and I'm in relationship with a woman' I said ' You also invited yourself without getting the details'
'Well, I'm leaving' She said
My friends and I danced, there was girl flirting with me and I flirt back it was harmless, I tipped and I drink and I fell back in the chair.
'Nora, come get Ava she drunk off her ass' Jenny said
'No. I'm as sober as snake' I slurred
I got up an order a s*x on the beach and a long island iced tea,before I got to drink it Nora was here and that was the end of my bacholer party.
