* * * * * * * * * * * * * * ALICE * * * * * * * * * * * * * *    The pain is unbearable , I never thought I could feel more pain than I have felt in recent months and yet it seems that it is getting worse and worse , my forehead is beaded with sweat , my hands and legs are shaking uncontrollably , the scar on the side of my head has started to hurt too , it's a throbbing pain that makes me see little white lights; but the predominant pain is that of the lower part of my abdomen , as if I had menstrual cramps but multiplied by a thousand.   It has been an hour since my water broke and I am afraid that I am going to start having the baby at any moment , because the desire to start pushing is getting more and more intense and I know that the time of delivery is approaching vertiginously ,
