Maya didn’t bother with greetings. Her heels struck the wooden floor with sharp, furious clicks as she marched straight toward Sebastian. The bar’s warm lighting softened nothing about her expression — she looked like a storm wrapped in a designer coat. Sebastian straightened instinctively, shoulders tensing.
