My heart pounded as I looked up at Triton Castle. The balcony above us is where I saved my mother.
"Kitten," Damon wrapped his arms around my trembling body.
I glanced at my mother. Her mates were helping her to stand.
"Mom?"
"I'm okay," she gasped, clenching her growing bump.
"Goddess, why the hell would you put her through this?" I yelled.
The Moon Goddess frowned.
"Princess, that was my doing."
Whipping around, a beautiful woman with long flowing red hair wades out of the ocean. Her long dress shimmered like scales under the setting sun.
"Goddess," the Triton King bowed.
"What is going on?" I demanded, watching as the goddesses embraced.
