After we had our conversation in the park, I took Jaz and baby Marcus back to her mother’s house and dropped them off. I helped her get him inside, I made sure they were both comfortable, and then I gave her a quick peck on the cheek and left. I hate having to leave them, but I know that she doesn’t understand why. She is a human after all and they don’t understand the fated mates concept. I sigh as I climb back into the SUV and take off back to the pack lands to finish my work for the day.
After I finished stuff for the day, I took the night to go for a run and then I went to sleep to get ready for training first thing in the morning. When I made it down to the training field this morning, Lucas and Win were already there getting ready for the training session to begin.
