While we were at the restaurant, Max was the most perfect companion. He helped me feed Marcus and even held him while I tried to eat. All of the servers were in awe of how well he handled Marcus and I had to say I was just as impressed.
When we finally left the restaurant, Max took us to a park with a playground where the three of us had fun playing in the late July sun. Marcus had fun sliding down the slide and Max even pushed him in the swing. Once Marcus had finally run out of steam, Max held him tightly as the two of us walked around the park. I had to say that it was the most fun I have had in a long time.
I couldn’t help but admire Max as he held Marcus tightly to his chest. How was this man so good at being a dad and he wasn’t even a dad yet? Max caught me staring and he smirked
