Chapter 4: Jazmine

1180 Words
I hear Blake clear his throat behind me as I snap back to reality. I shake my head and inhale deeply. I don’t know what cologne this guy is wearing, but it smells heavenly. “Right… Uhm… Do you guys know what you want to eat?” I run my tongue over my lips and realize that they are suddenly very dry. Lucas doesn’t seem to notice as he looks down at the menu in front of him. “Hmm… I’m not too sure. Do you have any idea of what you want yet, Win?” Win shakes his head slowly. “No… I think I need a minute. What about you, Max? Do you have any idea what you would like?” I feel Max’s eyes run up and down my body quickly before he clears his throat and shakes his head slowly. “Uhm… Not yet. Do you mind if we look over the menu really quickly?” I smile down at Max and shake my head slowly. I don’t know why, but a part of me just wants to take care of him… I feel so drawn to him too. “Take all the time you need.” He grins and nods his head as he drops back down to study the menu. I turn around and start doing my side work for the night as the clock slowly ticks by. I don’t know why, but Max and I continued to take glances at one another. There was more than once in the two minute time frame that I noticed him staring at me and I couldn’t help but stare back. He truly was a spectacle of a man. Blake cleared his throat again and came over to me. He leaned against the dish washer and looked down. “Hey, so about that date we were talking about earlier…” I heard a weird sound come from Max, but I did my best to ignore it. Was that a growl? I shake my head and inhale deeply as I continue my side work. “Like I told you earlier, Blake, I just don’t think it is wise for us to start dating one another. Not right now, anyway.” He sighs and rolls his eyes. “Alright… Fine… Just, when these three get ready to order, come get me. I’ll be out back.” I sigh and shake my head slowly as he stalks out of the restaurant. “What the f**k,” I mumble as I stare after him. I shake my head again as I notice the three of them staring at me. “Sorry about that,” I say as I wash my hands quickly and dry them on a clean towel. I head back over to their table with my order pad and pen ready to take their order. “No need… We just don’t want to interrupt something… If we need to leave, we can go.” Lucas eyes the doorway that Blake left through very closely as he says that. I shake my head quickly. “No! No, there is no reason for you to leave… I just… Well, he just wants to go on a date together and I… I just… I can’t… For a number of reasons, I can’t date him.” The three of them nod their heads in unison as Win frowns. “Well, in my opinion, if he is that desperate, then it would probably never work out anyway.” I sigh and nod my head slowly. “You’re probably right…” I shake my head to clear away the negative energy in my mind. “Anyway, are you guys ready to order?” Max smiles softly and nods his head. “I think we are.” I smile as they start to order food. The three of them end up ordering the exact same thing of triple fully loaded hashbrowns, philly steak sandwiches, sirloin steaks, side salads, and the All Star Sampler platters. They each finish up their orders with a slice of our chocolate pie and a slice of our pecan pie. I couldn’t help but wonder just where they were going to put all the food they were about to eat. Oh well, as long as they are happy and fed, who cares about the rest? Right? Once I got their orders written down, I moved out to the back of the building and pushed the back door open. I look around and find Blake leaned up against the wall with his back to the doorway. “Hey, it’s time to make their food.” “f**k,” I hear him mumble. “Just… Mm… Give me a minute.” His voice sounds strained and I am not sure why. I c**k my head at him as I watch him closely. “Blake, what the f**k are you doing?” I walk over and grab his arm. As I do that, he spins around and I see him fisting his d**k in his hand. “Blake! Oh my God!” I quickly cover my mouth and my eyes and try to run away. Blake catches me and pulls me towards him. “No!” He grabs me and pushes me against the brick wall. “f**k,” he mumbles as he pants against me. “I was hoping you wouldn’t see this.” I feel the tears spring to my eyes as I look up at him. He towers over my five feet and four inch body at five feet and eleven inches. Even though he was slim in stature, he had rippling muscles and I knew he was stronger than me. “Blake… Please.” He looks up at me and shakes his head as he strokes the side of my face. He moves a stray curl out of the way and shakes his head. “Shh… Jaz… I’m not going to hurt you… I promise.” I swallow hard as the fear rises inside of me. I start to shake my head. “Blake… Please… Don’t do this…” He leans closer to me and as he scoffs. “Don’t do what? You have been teasing me all f*****g night and flirting with me all f*****g night and as soon as those three basterds walked through the door, you ignored me… Jaz, you are supposed to be the girl for me. I need you.” He pushes me harder into the wall and I feel his hands go to my waist. I push against him as I start to struggle in his arms. I have to do this. I have to scream. “STOP!!! BLAKE STOP!!!” He grabs my hands and pushes them behind my back. His actions twist my shoulders and I feel tears spring to my eyes. “STOP! That hurts! Stop! Please, Stop!!” I feel the tears fall down my face as he continues to move closer to me. I feel his lips graze my neck and I scream as the tears stream down my face.
