“Evening everyone. It is great to see all of you so excited for tonight. Just a couple of arrangements. Parents who want peace and quiet on the way, as usual, we have the parents' buses in the front.” Frank points forward. “The rest find a spot on the other buses.” Frank points to his sides, making some people giggle. “Young ones, you are all going for your own specific reasons. As your Alpha, I expect you to behave yourselves in a manner that will not reflect badly on our pack.” Frank frowns. Some of the younger males take a chance to boo at Frank, earning themselves an angry look from their fathers. Melissa knows this group well and prepared Frank for it all. They are a rowdy bunch who get a little out of hand every year. “That group of boys there. You will be joining the warriors from tomorrow if you aren’t part of them yet. You sound like you have more than enough energy to train with them.” Frank smiles, receiving a burst of clapping hands from their parents. He has turned out to be a father figure for all the kids in the pack, which has made him a beloved Alpha in the eyes of most of the members. “Everyone, this is a special evening, as you all know. It is a celebration according to our Luna’s culture and a big chance for our young ones to possibly find mates. Let’s go and enjoy our time at the festival. Keep to our kind if you do not want to mingle with others, but respect the fact that it is their right to celebrate their way. Agreed?” A resounding agreement from the pack makes Melissa smile shyly. Melissa hates the spotlight. Besides, she has to keep their own crew in check. “Here we go, guys! Fill those buses!” Frank shouts, and the excitement electrifies the air with the young wolves looking forward to the festival. Once all the buses are filled, the convoy starts moving. Frank gets up out of his seat and looks back to make sure all the buses leave and nobody is left behind. Thinking to himself what a mess it would be if they didn’t have the buses. Naked wolves arriving at the festival would not have looked very good! He giggles, making Melissa look at him. “What?” Melissa looks as if she is about to erupt at any moment. “Nothing.” He shrugs. “What? You giggling like that is not a nothing.” Melissa raises an amused brow. “I was just thinking if we didn’t have the buses and this lot would arrive at the festival as wolves. You would have a bunch of naked people walking around!” Frank giggles again. “OH Frank!!!” She burst out laughing, knowing exactly where his brain went. “I know it would never have happened that way, but just think.” Frank shrugs as Melissa cries with laughter. They draw Greg’s attention and, after telling him, he is crying with laughter. Greg’s wife is one of the few who have become Melissa’s close friends who also had to know what the joke is. Before long, all four of them are having fits of laughter, silencing most of the rest of the people on the bus. “I’m sorry everyone. I was just wondering how we are going to get that lot back home with their mates. It seems we need double the number of buses every year.” Frank tries to cover his little joke, but although some of the other parents seem happy to discuss the subject, others seem to only now realize what it would mean. “That was close!” Frank giggles again. The Lunar pack’s arrival at the festival is a big event. They are the biggest pack to attend. The young ladies setting the trend in the fashion world, the young men the attitude. Greg and Amanda have made sure that there is a tent set up for their pack with tables and chairs for the members who prefer to have a social visit without spending a lot of time walking around the festival. Frank and Melissa make sure everyone makes their way out of the buses and into the festival. Their daughters are some of the first ones off of the bus. The fairy lights sparkling in the trees remind Melissa each year of the year she met Frank. Before they walk through the entrance, he looks down at her, and snakes his arm around her waist. He gives her a kiss and an I love you. Frank spends time making sure the pack is settled and that everyone knows where the tent is. Then the night belongs to him and Melissa. They always visit Emily before walking through the rows of stalls. Their daughters join their friends to socialize with other young wolves from other packs. “Mheegan! Stop fidgeting and being such a pain, you are driving me mad!” Isobel reprimands her sister. She still feels like an alien in her own skin and walks off on her own looking through some of the magic stalls. “It’s not me, Isobel! Something is wrong... someone is watching us!” Mheegan whispers. “You are just being melodramatic. There are a lot of people here and it is probably overwhelming your senses Mheegan! Please relax now. I would like to enjoy tonight.” Still feeling uneasy, Isobel joins her sisters, hoping it will calm her down. RADAGAST SILVER-FOX, and his family only comes to the festival when they have hand-fasting ceremonies, but how is he supposed to meet a mate when he spends all his time in the castle alone? With only his tutor and staff, and, of course, his mother. She refuses that he even looks at the staff girls for a possible mate! This year he finally convinced her to let him come to the festival to hopefully find someone. His mother has not accepted any of the advances suggested by my father that is part of the Silver-fox coven. She believes none of them are fit to be her daughter-in-law. If he can’t find his wife in their coven as per tradition, how is he supposed to have an heir at the end of the day? Radagast walks around the festival, the light irritating his eyes. His black velvet suit with a silver silk lining makes him stand out like a sore thumb among all of this colour. He sees her standing with her back to him, dressed in his family colours. Is she perhaps a coven member? Surely a coven member wouldn’t be caught dead talking to a wolf. But she is wearing their coven colors.
